FLIP Transfers Policy & Refund Information
At FLIP, we’re committed to providing smooth, secure, and flexible money transfer services. Before sending, please review our important policies below to ensure you understand how FLIP works.
👤 User Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old.
You must have a valid payment account on one or more supported platforms (Cash App, Venmo, Zelle, Chime, debit/credit card).
🔄 Services Provided
Flip accepts payments from supported methods.
Flip manually transfers funds to the recipient’s requested platform.
Notifications are sent via email or text for transfer confirmation.
💸 Fees
Flip charges $1 per $50 transferred ($0-$50).
Additional third-party fees may apply, including:
Debit/Credit processing fee (2.9% + $0.30)
Instant payout or receiving platform fees (typically 1%–1.5%)
All fees are visible on the calculator before you complete your transfer.
⏱ Processing Time
Transfers are generally completed within 15 mins but can take as long as 45 mins during high volume times.
Delays may occur depending on platform availability or manual review.
⚠️ Risk Disclosure
Flip does not hold funds or provide banking services.
All transfers are final once initiated.
Users are responsible for entering correct recipient details.
Flip is not liable for failed transfers due to incorrect information or platform downtime.
🔍 Fraud & Compliance
Suspicious or high-risk activity may trigger manual review or transaction denial.
Flip complies with relevant anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations where required.
🚫 Limitation of Liability
Flip is not affiliated with Cash App, Venmo, Zelle, Chime or Stripe.
We do not guarantee instant delivery, platform uptime, or recipient access to funds.
In no event shall Flip be liable for more than the total fees paid on a single transaction.
⚖️ Transfer Policy
If the required transfer fee is not paid upfront, the fee will be deducted from the total amount before sending to the receiver.
Transfer Fees for both FLIP and Other Providers is Non-Refundable if refund is requested.
The maximum limit per transaction is $1,000
💸 Refund Policy
If FLIP is unable to send the funds to the receiver due to system issues, unavailable accounts, or platform restrictions, the full amount will be (unless service provide has taken instant fee upon receiving):
Returned to the original sender using the same payment method.
Refunded back to the card if the transaction was paid via debit or credit card.
Once a transfer has been successfully sent, it is non-refundable and cannot be reversed under any circumstances.
